First off, I want to allay your fears. I used to feel bad about eating steak because I thought that all red meat was inherently bad. With all the cholesterol and fat, it just had to be unhealthy, right? Well, it turns out that fat isn’t bad for you. From the French to the coconut-devouring Tokelauans, many cultures have thrived on high fat diets without the high rates of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and other maladies that we suffer from today, so that can’t be it.

What I have found to be the perfect substitution is chocolate chips.
Here are the ingredients:
1 cup of grated zucchini
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 egg beaten
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cooking oil
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (normally nuts)
First, cut the zucchini into pieces and remove the large seeds to keep them from appearing in your bread.
Mix the egg, sugar, zucchini and oil all together. Take all of the remaining dry ingredients and add to the mixture. Stir until moist and then fold in chocolate chips. Set the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 55 minutes or until you can remove a toothpick and it comes out clean. Finally, cool and remove from pan.
I store the bread in freezer bag or any other air tight container I have lying around. Makes 1 loaf.
I hope that you enjoy this zucchini nut bread recipe — without the nuts — as much as I do.

This is worth a shot, even though it sounds improbable. Many restaurants will give their recipes (minus the “”secret sauce”) away on their web site. You’d be surprised how many recipes you can find, actually. You can’t always find the recipe you were craving per se, but at least you know you’re getting the real deal, right from the horse’s mouth.

Sernik, which is a Polish cheese cake, is one of the most famous dessert delicacies of Poland. You can prepare the crust either with cookie crumbs or make it separately with a mixture of flour, butter and sugar. To make a cookie crumb based cheese cake you will need 1 pound of graham crackers or shortbread cookies and a couple of tablespoons of melted butter. If you are using graham crackers add 1/4th cup of powdered sugar to it while crushing it.

I recommend this homemade chocolate pie for any occasion. It’s great for birthdays, family gatherings, pot-luck dinners, ladies luncheons, as a thank you gift to a pastor or teacher, and it’s a great way to show you care to someone that’s ill or needs uplifting.
